FILMSOMNIA s.r.o.
Filmsomnia is a production company led by Anna Mach Rumanová, based in Bratislava, Slovakia. It was founded in 2014 by documentary filmmaker Mária Rumanová. In the spirit of its founder’s legacy, the company’s ambition is to develop high-quality and artistically distinctive projects with strong potential for festival distribution. Filmsomnia is a minority co-producer of the documentary You Will Never See It All (dir. Štěpán Pech, 2023), about the late conceptual artist Ján Mančuška, as well as Adam Martinec’s feature debut Mord (2024). Projects currently in production include Wasteland Chronicles (dir. Viera Čákanyová, Barbora Sliepková, Lucia Kašová), Ports (dir. Tereza Smetanová), A Spectre is Haunting Europe (dir. Róbert Mihály), and the TV documentary series Happy Child (dir. Lena Kušnieriková).
